Lingen (Ems)  

 

Lingen is a city in Lower Saxony, Germany close to the border of the Netherlands. In 2008 the population counted to approx. 53.000.. Lingen, specifically "Lingen (Ems)", is located on the beautiful river Ems in the southern part of the Emsland county, which is well known for the "Trans Rapid" test track and the large shipyard "Meyer-Werft" in Papenburg. Lingen was first mentioned in medieval times (975 A.D.). (see. wikipedia)
